Liam Connery – Album Launch
The Jago, E8 4AA , [Venue Details]Liam is a composer and producer from South London. Since being in the world-famous Libera boys choir, he has always been exploring ways to pair rich vocal harmonies and interesting genre mashups.
After years working in the industry as a backing singer and instrumentalist on keyboards and guitars for the likes of Boy George and Culture Club, and writing songs for artists such as OLI, Liam is using his widely varied skills to create new and differing sound worlds of his own.
Recently he has written and produced songs on Libera’s album Dream, alongside creating some remixes for them for an additional EP. He also tours with them as their conductor. He has released a few singles and EPs before, as well as producing albums for other artists, but this album launch is what he considers to be his style fully realised for the first time.
